Ghot; thanks for pointing me in the direction of Firefox-UI-Fix-master.zip. I got the latest version from the authors' page, and shall play around with it !

I've recently been using Lepton Photon in LibreWolf (Firefox fork)

With compact mode restored it looks like this. I don't have many bookmarks. I prefer not to use bookmarks stored in the browser.

Quick question guys, my FireFox keeps using the wrong zip code for my location , nothing I've tried seems to make it use the correct location. I even have Windows Location set to my correct location. But FF refuses to use the correct zip code. Anyone have any ideas??

Have you checked your Windows settings under Privacy > Location?

Yes and its set to right zip code, but FF does not seem to use it from Windows.

Chrome works fine, has no problem displaying the right zip code.

I got nothing. I see settings in Firefox for location but nothing that would explain your situation.
Best wait for the FF gurus to respond!

Maybe you moved and didn't tell yourself.

Websites "guess" your zip code from your ISP and your IP address.
Firefox, really has nothing to do with your zip code.

The best you can really do, is manually set your zip code at whatever site is reporting it incorrectly.
I have this problem with Home Depot, for example. For their site, it reports the zip code for the Home Depot location and not for my location.

However, all the sites where I fill out location information, for paying purposes or things like weather purposes... remember my correct zip code.

And there are sites that will show a drop-down upper left asking permission to use your exact location, usually for the purpose of fine tuning ads and the like.

Like I posted earlier ...Chrome works perfectly, always has correct zip code.

    FF never does....

Not that I have the answer, but my browsers work the same way. Chrome is very accurate on it's own, but Firefox seems way less when left by itself. I had to manually set my location in Windows, and at least now Firefox reads that, and is 95% accurate.
