On mine, the menus and pop ups remain black, but the background reverted back to white.
My bookmarks, context menus, and toolbars have always had black text.
It looks like your "Red Fade" theme and FF100 are having a disagreement.
You may have to wait for an updated version of the "Red Fade" theme.
@Farvatten Mine are highlighted dark blue as well.
There's a bunch of settings in ARI's userChrome.css file, relating to Toolbar... colors and things, that I will have to play around with.
I'll look at it later this evening.

Someone posted a fix on Reddit to restore default color:
However I already use blue anyway so it's not an issue for me.Code:#main-menubar > menu[_moz-menuactive="true"] { background-color: hsla(0,0%,0%,.12) !important; }
Firefox:
However in Librewolf it's the same problem.

I guess that a fix will need to be released by mozilla.
@Farvatten
For anyone using ARI's.... userChrome.css, you need to "activate" this line (down near the bottom), to get the text to turn to white (aka, alternative color), when hovering over an item on the menu bar.
Since FF100, the text on a highlighted menu item, also, remained black.
This tweak puts it back to the way it was.
Remove the /* and space, to activate the line. Then restart Firefox.
Here is my complete Chrome folder, for those interested...

Always appreciate your help and heads up...!
Before this Reddit fix, my work around had been to use this to create a light gray text for some contrast against the white window background as well as the dark blue highlight hover.
Code:/*Menu bar (File Edit View) text color */ .menubar-text, .tabbrowser-tab:not([selected="true"]) tab-label { color: #C3C3C3 !important; }
das10, that is it, thank you so much.
All is good again
