OK, so I used the MCT to build a USB install. Booted from USB and was offered four options: Win 10 Pro, Win 10 Home, Win 10 Home single language edition, Win 10 Education.
I clean installed, used my MS Account and Windows failed to Activate. Error Code 0x87E105DC.
Google gives me Xbox results.
Hoping that it's an activation server issue.
It gets worse and worse! Tried to uninstall the apps which arent starting, store still says they are installed, which they arent. Some got reinstalled, but just start and instantly force close...
Installed ok but cross it auto updated my GPU drivers, need to test but my previous set were rock solid albeit older. Don't like store at all, very spinny blue circle happy even though everything loads ok, hard to explain. Adobe reader thumbnails in explorer slower to show up - everytime I go into my pdf folder they re draw the thumbnails! Stuff I so far noticed
WU failed on my primary workstation, sfc /scannow showed errors most of which were duplicate ownership on powershell components and folders, and then 1 error on opencl dll's in an AMD driverstore (no AMD cards ever in this box). Using the ISO failed at 56% and dropped back to desktop the first time, re-running it again got to 100%... and now it's rebooting. Fingers crossed....
Used MCT to create ISO for x32 & x64, both in one iso file, 6GB+. Did in-place upgrade on 32-bit tablet. Download is 14393.0, then Windows Update to get 14393.10.
All other computers are 64-bit Pro & previously upgraded with Insider version (same as released version).
Tech Bench is still not available.
