Thanks for the help all. It's weird that I got this issue...never had this issue when I was an Insider...

Update V. 1607 downloaded via Settings and Windows Update. It took 30 mins (12Mbps connection, i5), followed by "Preparing to Install" (~10 mins), then "A restart has been scheduled" (I had set this up yesterday) with an offer to schedule the restart for 3:30 tomorrow, which I accepted (it will give me time to see if any others are having trouble although it is probably to late to intervene). (Hopefully, the 3:30 is UK time, not US time!)

So far so good (as the suicide said on the way down as he passed the 50th floor).

    Hi,

    Kari said:
If you are talking about the ESDtoISO tool in our tutorial, it will not work with ESD files in ISO images downloaded / created with MCT as has been repeatedly mentioned in the tutorial thread. The tool and method told in tutorial only work with ESD files downloaded through Windows Update.

If the ISO you downloaded with MCT, which contains install.esd instead of install.wim is not the ISO you want to, if you would rather have an ISO with WIM file instead of ESD (can't see why, an ISO is an ISO), you need to find another ESD to ISO decrypter.

    Kari
Thanks a million Kari. I hardly ever use the MCT tool preferring the Techbench ISOs instead.

For what I usually use it for it works perfect.

    Cheers,
