I resemble that remark - now 83 going on 84, consider myself "older" like your relatives and I pay everything I can online - using credit card, bank, PayPal! However I do keep my cash under the mattress - lol.
except I'm a couple years behind you . . . And, no cash under the mattress . . . that's the first place they'll look for it. Mine's in the chicken pen underneath the nest boxes and guarded by Daddy Roo.

Can anybody that has 1809 deployed confirm if Shutdown Settings are still available Under Power Options / Change Plan Settings?

They are mysteriously gone on my PC (don't lurk there very often though) and had resort to Change Advanced Power Settings in order to disable Fast Boot.

    Just curious?

    Microsoft:
"I would like to inform you that there is no possibility that an update causes loss of data or files. In Windows 10, your device is always kept up to date with the latest features and fixes. Updates and drivers are installed automatically, with no need to select which updates are needed or not needed. In rare cases, a specific driver or update might temporarily cause issues with your device in terms of performance. But it will neverwipe your files or pictures or any personal documents."
Good one, had to tweet it :)

    Hi there

Try French - Belgium for example 70 is different to 70 in French, Flemish has different words to Dutch, Afrikaans has different words to both, Icelandic based on Old Norse has diverged differently, Mexican spanish different to catalan, brazilian portuguese different to Lisbon Portuguese etc.

It would be impossible to have a totally 100% unified language --different customs, traditions etc etc -- not possible sometimes to even explain to other cultures a meaning of a local event etc.

In any case would we really want a bland universal language "Robotese" for example.

    Cheers

Still running 1809, 6 days and counting.
After updating on Oct 2nd, using Windows Update Assistant.

No data loss or anything unusual to report.

Just upgraded to 1809 on one of my laptops, no issues so far. Just in case, I moved my personal files from Documents, Downloads and Pictures to another partition and created a restore point. Actually, the update process was way faster than last April update. So far, so good.

How did you get the upgrade, Ksio? Just curious, since it's supposed to be pulled.
