So how about MS releasing 1903 (or whatever) being a cumulative fix update fixing all bugs seen to date - rather than concentrating on adding nonsensical and frankly speaking pointless features that most customers do not care about?
The first thing to note is that a cumulative update probably wouldn't work. Here's what would need to happen:

    1. Remove updates all the way back to 1803.320
    2. Have an Insider Big Bug Hunt
    3. Research and find (with the help of Insiders) reported instance of files being deleted
    4. Fix that bug first
    5. Have another Insider Big Bug Hunt
    6. Once that is done, fix all bugs reported to date
    7. Have another Insider Big Bug Hunt
    8. Turn over to the Insider Program to double check MS's work.

OK, now we have all the bugs located and squished. (Suuuurrrrrrrrrre we do!)

On to adding new features, one at a time!

This is quite true, but Microsoft Evidently failed on doing their due diligence by ignoring posts in The Hub about missing files over 3 months ago. I am confident that we will know tomorrow what MS's plans are.

Ran across something odd yesterday. Somehow W10 found an old wallpaper that I think was deleted when I upgraded from 8 to 10. Haven't seen it for so long I had completely forgotten about it, only 4 wallpapers in my cache so it wasn't a case of just not seeing it. Hard to miss a chalk drawing of a dog on a brick wall with a real dog sniffing it's butt.

I suspect a CU tomorrow with additional fixes and security for 1809 users, but probably not for the missing files trigger-issue, nor a general rollout of 1809. If it does it means MS spent only a few (additional) days fixing it, which questions why they didn't postpone the release to begin with if they knew about it.

I know it’s a US holiday today but Apple managed to release iOS 12.0.1 today! Makes MS look even worse

Columbus, Ohio which was named after him does not honor this holiday anymore.
They now close down for Veterans day.
