How to Turn On or Off Sync Phone Wallpaper with Your Phone App Background on Windows 10 PC

After you link your Android phone to your Windows 10 PC, you can sync your phone's wallpaper with the Your Phone app background on your Windows 10 PC.

When you turn on the Make app background the same as my phone's wallpaper setting in the Your Phone app in Windows 10, your phone's wallpaper will sync to the Your Phone app's background in the left pane with acrylic transparency effects.

This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off syncing your phone's wallpaper with the Your Phone app background for your account on a Windows 10 PC.

    Here's How:

1 Open the Your Phone app on your Windows 10 PC.

2 Click/tap on the Settings (gear) icon at the bottom of the left pane. (see screenshot below)

3 Click/tap on Personalization in the middle Settings pane.

4 Under Personalization in the right Personalization pane, turn On or Off (default) Make app background the same as my Android device's wallpaper for what you want.

If the Make app background the same as my Android device's wallpaper setting is grayed out, you will need to turn on transparency effects in Windows 10.

5 You can now close the Your Phone app if you like.

Ha, the setting is there (and "on"), but is not yet working.

    Could it be due:

    1. The sync itself is not yet enabled on server side by MSFT for me (they do that in phases)
    2. I use Muzei as my wallpaper app

    So let's wait and seen.

Phone mirroring ain't visible either yet (I have OP5) and don't know shall it ever for my OP.

    Great app anyway!

I've been using the default wallpaper app on my S9, so it may be some issue syncing with the 3rd party app.

Now my tweet has been reacted by MSFT / insiders team, let's see if fix / feature addition sees daylight at some point.
