Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [2]
-
For fancy gaming motherboards with loads of extra audio features, it is often difficult to find compatible drivers.
I would find out your motherboard's exact realtek part ID from device manager, write it down. Then go to ASRock's website and find a more current motherboard --- download that newer motherboard's realtek driver, unzip it and look at the setup inf file to see if your motherboard's realtek part ID is in the inf file. The fancier the motherboard, the lesser chance you will find a compatible driver.
Thanks for replying. i found the right driver before in this link if I remember correctly compatible driver can be 6.0.1.8551 i think how can i find 51 version?

My way should be tried first because it is 100% official and IF you can find a newer official asrock UAD driver that is compatible to your motherboard --- then you don't have to worry about finding compatible drivers EVER AGAIN because all subsequent updates will be found in MUC.
I have a plain Acer desktop pc (i.e. it doesn't come with DTS or Dolby or Nahimic...) that Acer has a 2016 realtek driver listed on their support website. I updated it with a 2017 realtek 2.82 driver from realtek's official website. Then I went to Acer's website and looked at a bunch of 2019 Acer plain pc models and found a UAD driver that has my realtek ID part number listed in the inf file. After installing that UAD driver, all subsequent updates are found every 2 weeks on MUC --- so now I currently have 6.0.8849.1 driver with 1.8.204.0 app.
BUT finding an official asrock UAD driver that is compatible to your motherboard may be harder for fancier gaming motherboards which come with loads of extra stuff. They have to pay for DTS or Dolby licensing fees so they have to match exact realtek part ID number with each set of audio drivers.

Report: Finding 8880 (uad) very sonically rich and pleasing.

Now go to Microsoft update catalog, search for realtek 1903 media, download 6.0.8849.1 driver, unzip it, and update via device manager.
Search for realtek 1903, download 11.0.6000.736 software component, unzip it, and update ALL THREE of the software components in the device manager. After updating the software components, run Microsoft Store and download 1.8.204.0 Realtek Audio Console.
So from now on, you will never have to look for compatible realtek drivers ever again. Just go to Microsoft update catalog every 2 weeks and you can download the latest official drivers. For example, you are going to get 6.0.8856.1 and 1.9.205.0 app by next week on MUC.
I really don't know why people don't try my method first.

Yeah?? I'm on HDA 8862 atm which I think sounds pretty great on my Sennheiser HD598. Nice and clear with good bass. Do you think 8881 are better again?

I don't try 8080 or 8881 so i can't compare, but new 6.0.8882.1 from Pal1000 sound really good too, good separation, not too bassy, perfect balanced on my system and with my prefered music (jazz, bossa nova, pop)
