Yep, I hope they do good as well, but I'm still skeptical. This is the same thing from AMD. They have been doing it since the Phenom II days. They are going to release a CPU and show 1 benchmark they can win. This particular benchmark favors cores. The more cores, the better the score. They compared a 16 core and a 12 core against a 10 core and won. Well, they should have won. Where are the rest of the benchmarks? I hope the do well and even beat Intel, but based on their past history, I'll believe it when I see it.
I'm going to stay positive on the Threadripper front. Pricing looks pretty solid to me. Maybe it's time to upgrade my Core 2 Quad Q9550. That was built in July of 2009.

Mine looks good too. Check that, only 3 of my 4 MB fans show up. But it does show 2 temps for each hard drive, so that`s good
