Main rig is an i7-7700K system, backup is an i7-4790K system. Also have an i7-6700K Processor and Z170X MB, but currently no DDR4 RAM for it.

    Very quick test:

    Copied large folder from other drive to and from the 950 Pro and also while doing a render test to heat up the beast.

    40-42 is a good temp, what was it hitting vbefore applying the heatsink?

    That looks like you are getting a really good drop in temps. I dont think they throttle until 70c, but Im not sure. Well done Andrew
