[HELP!] PC had a freeze, after a restart, killed peripherals.
So the other day my PC completely froze, and both my keyboard and mouse stopped working. I had to reset it by force, which should be ok, I guess, there's no other way...
After I reset my PC, everything worked fine except my keyboard and mouse, they both, literally died.
They get their coresponsive HID and keyboard detection, but other than that they don't work.
They both light up, they both look like they work when connected, but they just don't.
Connected them on multiple machines, their drivers get installed, Windows recognizes them, but they don't work.
So what I did is I got USBDeview to check if it actually knows the exact name of these components, the RAT mouse and Bloody keyboard.
It didn't. Ok...
Went to download Bloody/Rat software to check if they can recognize them, they couldn't either.
I have never seen this issue before, I have no idea if it's even possible to fix them, since they don't work on any other machine.
So, they get recognized as USB components, but not as the actual device they're supposed to be.
I tried even connecting them to android phone, not even that works.
Did this frozen PC RAM crash, actually kill these 2 hardware components? If so why do both light up and get drivers installed on Windows, yet don't work?
Any solutions?
