    Interestingly, adding this bit of code at the end of Aris's "userChrome.css" file OR inside his "my_userChrome.css" OR your own "userChrome.css" shows the Scrollbars on Bookmarks, History menus etc.
    ref: Reddit - Dive into anything
    Code:
    scrollbox[part="scrollbox"] {
    overflow-y: auto !important;
    }
    Attachment 389716
    Works perfectly in Firefox 112. Added it to the my_userChrome.css file, restarted the browser and the scroll bars are back in the bookmarks folder like I was after. Thank you :)

    I'm back again with another dilemma. My "reopen closed tab" option has grayed out on firefox, it's happened on multiple machines that I run Firefox on and I can't seem to get it back. I've deleted files from the appdata folder to try and fix it that have been suggested on the Mozilla website but to no avail. Any clue how to get the button back? I use it quite often after mistakenly closing a tab.

    • If you do not have any recently closed tab(s) or window(s) in your sessions with FF, those buttons are disabled.
    • If restore your session is faded its b/c the session has already been restored while starting the new session.

    Try it, open a new session of FF add a new tab then close it, now go to your usual spots where you find your "recently and restore" buttons you'll see those buttons are no longer faded.

    • But it sounds like you're already doing that and if that's the case you have deeper problems.
    • It also sounds like you're checking before adding/closing a tab.

    Which one is it?? Can you clarify?

    You really should fill in your system specs, I went to see you're FF v# and it was not listed.
    Which one is it??

    Restoring a session just opens up a blank tab. The restore previous tabs is still grayed out even after I open multiple tabs and then close one of them to test it. I've restarted my laptop and the same thing happens. Closed my browser then opened it again and checked and it's grayed out, loaded more tabs and closed them and still grayed out. Nothing seems to be working when it comes to restoring the session or reopening tabs that have closed.

    Is that how you have session start set, Instead of opening to a personalized home tab the session opens to a blank tab?

    Then you have deeper problems. Can you try your FF in safe mode to test then try creating a new profile to test.

    What are the results?

    Starting in safe mode still doesn't sort the issue out. What spec do you want? The complete PC spec the issue is on or just the Firefox version I'm using?

    I'm guessing if I do a complete refresh of Firefox I lose all my personalization settings and maybe usernames and passwords as well as plugins etc. I'm reluctant to do that to be honest so if that's the case I'll probably just have to live without having the reopen closed tab option.

    What about the new profile?

    Both would be nice, there is an entry for browsers in specs.

    That's pretty much how I read it unless another member chimes in with a better idea.

    You do have those options just not at the beginning of a session. My FF acts like yours so I learned a different way to restore tabs, sessions and FF windows.

    @bazzietuk You can export all your IDS/PWs that you have in FF, then re-import them. If you have a your items synced, the plugins (extensions) will re-install by themself. A refresh is not as dismal as it sounds. Just do some prep first.
