Hmmm...now when I tested how fast my SHA1-Checker application, I have written, is, it makes no sense for the verification/initialization process to take that long time. Unless it's verifying each and every 50k file until it finds a SHA1 match for a particular entry in the XML-files.
This would be plain stupid to do it like this. But that actually would make sense as it takes a lot of time to go through all 50k files. Or maybe the initialization uses the full fledged search capabilities of Explorer. That is known to be very slow too. I don't know, but something is very wrong here.
It takes me 23 seconds to verify a SHA1 for latest Insider ISO (4 235 124 736 bytes). so this means it should only take 1-2 minutes to verify integrity of each file of 50k+ in total files.
HMMMM....!?!
haha, it's not broken, it's a BIG BUG!
I had to run uup off script do clean up of system files on C drive, reboot to get*install.esd file then all worked ok.
None of my 3 windows 10 machines would install with uup on
