My install got stuck at 92% configuring windows. Had a word with MS Answer Tech and told to reset machine 2-3 times and use system restore but on 3rd reset it went to 100% on my x64 machine. Testing x86 machine now.
Installed on 3 computers with no delay. Took less than 2 minutes to get passed 92% mark.
Installed on 4th computer - no delay, installed on 5th computer and took more than 10 minutes at 92% - but was successful.

I can't get this update to install on my PC (from build 17763.379) as it repeatedly fails on restarting and rolls back the update.
On running sfc /scannow on rebooting into Windows I discovered that one file was corrupted - input.inf - but this file was *not* corrupted prior to installing this cumulative update as I run sfc frequently and have not had any corrupted files in many months. So it seems that this update is doing something damaging to that file that then causes the update to fail.
The error in Windows Update is Last failed install attempt on 21 Mar 2019 - 0xe0000100. I've Googled this error but nothing comes up.
Rerunning sfc /scannow a second time fixes the corruption, confirmed by a third run post-reboot reporting no errors. I also ran dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth to be sure - it reports nothing wrong. Yet as soon as I try to reinstall the cumulative update, it fails and then causes sfc to report the same corrupted input.inf file.
I even attempted to install this update manually from the CAB file. No can do. Seems this update just does not want to install on my PC. I've had the odd update fail in the past but they've *always* installed on the second attempt. Not this one though.
*EDIT*
Hmmm, the fourth failed attempt and rollback doesn't show any corrupted files on running sfc /scannow so I guess I was wrong about the update causing the corrupted file.
Can't understand why it won't install and that cryptic error code doesn't help, especially as nothing comes up when I do a search. Anyone know what error code 0xe0000100 means?
P.S. I installed the servicing stack update linked above via the downloaded CAB with no issues.
