Update fine, it shows in history as installed ok but I have this event viewer error
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200D: 2018-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4464330).
Also rechecking WU and nothing shows after either.
Ok, then just another bug
My event viewer is filling up fast lately.
Downloading right now on my second computer at 74%
@Brink: "Windows cumulative updates require that you install the latest servicing stack update (SSU) for your operating system beforeinstalling the latest cumulative update (LCU). This helps to mitigate potential issues while installing the LCU. For more information, see Servicing stack updates.
If you are using Windows Update, the latest SSU (KB4465477) will be offered to you automatically. To get the stand-alone package for the latest SSU, go to the Microsoft Update Catalog."
I always use the same MS Support page that you use to post these notices, Thanks. But when I see that an SSU is required, are these included if I update using WU vs downloading the SSU and the CumUp separately and installing SSU first ? I've always done the SSU then install CumUp but wondering if this means I can simply do both using WU/Check now in Settings if I see a new SSU ?
