How to Add or Remove Folders on Start List in Windows 10
The Start menu in Windows 10 has a Start list that you can customize which folders appear in the list. You can add or remove the File Explorer, Settings, your Documents, your Downloads, your Music, your Pictures, your Videos, Network, and Personal folder to your Start list to open from your Start menu.
Some of these folders (ex: File Explorer) will display a Jump List (expandable menu caret) for items you recently opened with the link.
Starting with Windows 10 build 14328, any additional folders you have chosen to appear on Start will now be immediately available on Start and you will no longer need to open the hamburger button to access them.
This tutorial will show you how to choose which folders appear on Start list for your account in Windows 10.

Here's How:
1 Do step 2 (Settings) or step 3 (Start menu) below for how you would like to open the "Choose which folders appear on Start" settings.
A) Open Settings, and click/tap on Personalization.
B) Click/tap on Start on the left side, click/tap on the Choose which folders appear on Start link on the right side, and go to step 4 below. (see screenshot below)
This step is only available starting with Windows 10 build 17074.
A) Open the Start menu .
B) Right click on any of the currently turned on folders (ex: Settings) in the Start list, click/tap on Personalize this list, and go to step 4 below. (see screenshot below)
4 Turn on (add) or off (remove) the folders for how you want to customize your Start list. (see screenshot below)
5 When finished, you can close Settings if you like.
If you do not see the changes you made applied to your Start list when you open the Start menu next, then you can restart explorer to force the list to update.
That's it,
