@Hans1 - Re-Download and Test Again
There was a file added to this new version that was missing - that might be the cause of that error.
The prior issue was that the "container" file changed name
Oh, and I do not use Acronis, so I edited to make you happy with the New Release....
So basically you sort of Broken something that worked, by updating...
@Kyhi - thank you very much. Acronis works fine now.
unfortunately the scripts doesn't work for new Minitool Data recovery and for new AOMEI Backupper.
For AOMEI Backupper file lib7zg.dll is missing after start in PE.
For Minitool Data Recovery files avcodec-58.ll, avfilter-7.dll, avformat-58.dll and avutil-56.dll is missing.
Can somebody fix this scripst ?
Thanks
ok, so... i found (on the old thread for this; went there from a google search) a reference to dotnet3.5 and you even put a picture up showing that the person in question should use that script, and well... i honestly hate the version of the project i have right now, because it doesnt have it apparently, and well, i'm still getting used to the UI changes between this and win10pese... normally i would make any changes i couldn't make in XPE(i know, probably shouldnt, but hey, it works when idk how to convert scripts into the XPE format) in Win10PESE, but since i'm running the 2004 version DVD, practically nothing does what it's supposed to, and it spits out this AZIN project and basically invalidates or disables all other built in scripts, sooo... yeah... seriously, don't get me started on AZIN, cuz ever since it started giving me that it's been a headache for me, or at least, more of a headache than usual...
i guess what i'm asking(trust me, i'd rather hear it from the horses mouth instead of search hundreds of pages of this for hours or days to find NOTHING on my current need to install dotnet 3.5) is whether there's a script for dotnet 3.5 based on the XPE project or not, because mine doesn't seem to have it, or perhaps it does and i just can't find it? if the latter is the case then i need help to find it, as i DO have dotnet 4 checked.
what i'm attempting to do, just for reference, is to load a certain application installer, and i'm almost 100% certain the installer loading error i get is because of an installer DLL that requires dotnet2.0 to run(i know the installer and app REQUIRE dotnet 2.0, or they did at least, and without dotnet 2.0\3.5\etc enabled i obviously can't check my theory out without it.
getting java running on boot was just as easy as hitting "1st shot", installing java, hitting "2nd shot", copying program folder to "target_x64 a.d taking the output "redoreg" file and setting it to silently merge on boot, along with registry information for an old version of calibre ebook software, libreoffice, and even GIMP 10(plus associated program files for those apps) yet because it CAN'T be installed NORMALLY, and is hard to activate 3.5 on source for whatever reason half the time for me(not counting the whole AZIN thing which is recent for me, as i recently got rid of my OLD win10pese versions and reinstalled windows, among other things) well... i think you understand why i'm getting frustrated here...
if anyone is wondering, yes i'm currently booted from an XPE image i made, (so at least it boots, just without dotnet 3.5) with drivers for my AMD RADEON card installed and apparently loading, which i know with 7pe as well as 8\8.1 well, lets just say it was hard to get to work without the dreaded "needing to restart" and runs an AMD 3900X CPU with 16Gb of RAM, while being able to run an XPE creation pass in less than approximately 10 minutes. also, my full PE ISO image size is approximately 2.77 GB (that's with FULL WIM LZX compression enabled) with all the apps i'm currently using... seriously, any help or links to a working XPE compatible dotnet 3.5 script would be great to have, or help finding the option for it in the program if it already exists
thanks for all you guys do, and despite my current gripes with the win10pese project, the work you all put in on the different projects is greatly appreciated, even if it may not sound like it (seriously, i'm just frustrated AF right now because i haven't been keeping up with the win10pese scripting scene and even just a script kiddie it's hard to make sense of the format changes and whatnot, between these two projects)
Currently I do not... Have looked into the Newest Application and it is a bitch to follow all the files (even though already done) and I do not see much use for it, when compare to other "Like" Applications also included in Project... That does not mean somebody else can not take the time and testing to update it...Have somebody a script for EaseUS Partition Master 17 oder 18 ?
Thank you very much for that information... I honestly forgot about that, because anytime I have tried that stuff in the past, it just was a crapshoot whether it worked or not, and so I just gave up on that. That then as I mentioned led to me completely forgetting about that, so I thank you very very much for reminding me how to enable dotnet 3... As an aside, do you have any preferred folder structure for placing the iso data into? For instance, is there a certain spot say, in the win 10 xpe folder somewhere, where the image contents are best suited to be stored? Or, is it just as easy enough to just create a folder on the root of the drive labeled for instance, "winstall" and just put the DVD contents there? I did it many different ways in the past, but at least as far as the old PESE projects are concerned I always had lots of trouble with those types of things relating to either the source folder itself or other things stemming from issues therein...
