boot configuration data on your pc is missing or contain errors

i have tried the following so far.tried to fix the problem by using a start up disk to repair start up.tried sfc repair got this message
Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.i used a hiren boot cd done a sfc scan verify got a message saying Windows Resource Protection found integrity violations.also tried windows>dism.exe /Image:c:\ /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth. got An initialization error occurred. For more information, review the log file.

Volume ### Ltr Label Fs Type Size Status Info
    ---------- --- ----------- ----- ---------- ------- --------- --------
Volume 0 E System Rese NTFS Partition 6251 MB Healthy
Volume 1 C NTFS Partition 925 GB Healthy

when this first happen volume 1 letter changed to e and volume 0 was c i then changed volume 1 to c as that is where windows 10 is on the drive all of files are there seems something is blocking me from using sfc to repair is there a way i can replace the missing files which will enable me to boot back into windows.seems also the drive is locked - The type of the file system is NTFS.
Windows cannot run disk checking on this volume because it is write protected.

tried to rebuildbcd command - Successfully scanned Windows installations.
    Total identified Windows installations: 0
    The operation completed successfully.

can anyone help currently using hiren boot cd

What are the status of the important computer files:
    a) files backed up to another drive or the cloud
    b) backed up images saved to another drive or the cloud
    c) no backed up files or images > files need to be saved
    d) no backed up files or images > files do not need to be saved

For all steps / tests make sure images are posted into the thread:

    Take Screenshot in Windows 10
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/...re-screenshots
How to Upload and Post Screenshots and Files at Ten Forums

Find a flash drive that you can format ( > or = 8 GB)

Create a bootable Windows 10 iso:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10
    Download Windows 10 ISO File
Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

Boot to the iso > in the left lower corner click repair > troubleshoot >
    a) uninstall the latest updates > reboot > check for error messages and codes > post images into the thread using share links: one drive, drop box, or google drive

    b) click system restore > start with the oldest system restore point and keep repeating as necessary up to the most recent restore point

    c) click start up repair > indicate whether it created a srttrail.txt

    d) click command prompt > type the following commands (comments will be in parenthesis)

    Code:
notepad (this should open notepad where you will paste the command prompt results and save to a flash drive > move the flash drive to a working computer > upload results into this thread)

    bcdedit /enum all
    bcdedit | find "osdevice"

    1) What are the status of the important computer files:
    a) files backed up to another drive or the cloud
    b) backed up images saved to another drive or the cloud
    c) no backed up files or images > files need to be saved
    d) no backed up files or images > files do not need to be saved

    2) Boot to the windows 10 iso > repair > troubleshoot > command prompt

    3) type: notepad
    (this should open notepad)
    type: notepad
(this should open a second notepad)
(plan to copy and paste all commands with results to notepad > save to a flash drive > move the flash drive to a working computer > upload into this thread

    4) click file > open > search for C:\windows.new\system32\logfiles\srtsrttrail.txt
(save to the flash drive > upload into this thread)

    5) type: bcdedit | find "osdevice"

    6) type: dism /image:M:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions (change M to the applicable drive letter for the partition drive letter seen in the earlier steps: partition=?) ( There is a space between \ / )

    7) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into notepad > save to flash drive > move the flash drive to a working computer > upload into this thread

    8) reboot and reopen command prompt if it does not boot to desktop

    9) type: chkdsk /r /v M: (change the drive letter M to the partition drive letter from the osdevice command)

(This may take time to complete. If the command is able to proceed it typically will display an estimated time.)
(Plan to run overnight and part of the next day with a 1 TB drive)

    10) reboot and reopen command prompt if it does not boot to desktop

    11) type: sfc /scannow /offbootdir=M:\ /offwindir=M:\windows (change the drive letter M to the partition drive letter seen in the find osdevice command

    12) type: bootrec /fixmbr

    13) type: bootrec /fixboot

    14) type: bootrec /scanos

    15) type: bootsect /nt60

    16) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into notepad > save to flash drive > move the flash drive to a working computer > upload into this thread

    17) reboot

    18) Test the drive using Sea Tools bootable > take pictures with a camera or smartphone camera > post images into the thread
