I see a different setup when I click the Attachment button in the Advanced post section.

    Hey mate,

Double check the blue note box at the top to see if you did that already. :)

    My bad.

In any case, I prefer the Enhanced Attachment Uploading tool used here, over the one that SevenForums uses.

I have Enhanced Attachment Uploading set to On and am having problems seeing attachments when I preview my posts, so I can't move them or resize them currently.

Will have a go at switching this off and see if it solves my problems.

    Hey Maggi,

I would recommend to turn off enhanced attachment uploading. I find that it's easier and works better off. :)

Okay Shawn this is driving me crazy .

I'm using Advanced. Enhanced is OFF. I can get my files into the post and see them in the Attachments section.

I can't see them in the body of my post.

If I click on Preview I CAN see the attachment, but as I can't see it in the active pane I can't move it, resize it or anything. This means I can't attach anything inline, it has to go at the bottom of the post as, since I can't see the attachment I can't move my cursor to below it.

I thought it might be because I wasn't clicking the paperclip (had this before, some time back on Eight), but that just took me to the upload window again.

I hope this makes sense to you.

Here are screenshots after I uploaded an attachment. I have no idea how these will appear in the post, so just in case it's not clear: The Preview pane shows the attachment; when I scroll down to the active pane of the same post I can't see it at all. SEE EDIT BELOW.

After first previewing this post, I tried clicking on the paperclip again. I got the Upload page again, but also a white box to the left of the post (no visible text). I clicked in this and now I have one image in the active pane where I'm writing (it's the one that just shows TEST and nothing else). It didn't come in quite at the bottom of the post, but split the text. As I'm typing now it is moving across the screen with me. No idea if this will be an additional image when I post, but here goes...

EDIT: Since clicking on that white box with no visible text and getting one attachment showing in the active pane, I have lost the originals (which were in the order of Preview WITH image showing and Message pane WITHOUT). So the sentences in italics above aren't supported by 2 images, just one. I have no idea how to get the other attachment back into my post (or why it disappeared). When I click on Manage Attachments, I just get the Upload windows again. But I just previewed this edit, and the second attachment has appeared again - at the bottom now. I have no idea how this happened or whether you will see 1,2 or 3 attachments. How to Upload and Post Screenshots and Files at Ten Forums-evil-2.png

Yea try the drop down symbol next to the paper clip,
    You'll see Manage attachments,
There you'll see what you've uploaded already,
The enhanced attachment features work so far but is a bit confusing on preview...

All I can say is name the attachments well but short and sweet :)

    Maggi,

In addition, use OPTION TWO for the best results.
