Windows 10 on a model LENOVO Laptop is slowly degrading
My LENOVO Laptop - purchased sometime late 2017
ideapad FLEX 4-1580 Signature Ed
i7-7500 VCPU @ 2.70 GHz 290 GHz
16 GB memory
64 bit OS x64 processor
475gb SSD root drive
Windows 10 HOME 16299 build 16299
Purchased in 2017, never reloaded...
Recently it is getting slower and slower... even the booting.
Internet is slowing..
I suspect it is getting corrupted. With Win XP/7... a good reload of OS, reload Applications were good for another 6 mo or so. Win 10 seems to be a "different animal"
With other Windows OS's [My first OS was DOS 1.0 on an IBM PC [original] and have had ever Microsoft OS since DOS 1.0 except Win 8, which I skipped.
On those SYS it was easy to just RELOAD OS from a CD, reload APPS... another 6 mo.
But with Lenovo, Win 10, no discs were supplied.
There is a FOLDER: Windowsd10 Upgrade ??? what is it for? upgrade to what.
Question: Can someone advise how to:
get a clean copy of Win 10 to RELOAD Like we did on XP,7....?
Advise? Any other action to speed up other than a reload that will "clean up" my OS??
