This will show you how to help provide needed information about your system and dump files. It will not contain any personal or sensitive information about you or your data.

To get better help with your Windows 10 BSOD issue, please follow these steps below.

We have two log collection scripts, our old DM log collector and the new V2 Log collector, the new V2 collector has been designed to provide our analysts with better and more detailed reports and unless instructed to do so you should use the new V2 Collector.

    * Our analysts need to be able to read your logs, if your default system language is not English please change it before running the log collection tools.

See the following tutorials to set system language:

    1. Click on the Download button below.

    2. Download
      .
    3. Save log collector V2 log collector 1.1x.zip to where (downloads for example) you want.
    4. Right click on V2 log collector 1.1x.zip in the Downloads folder and select Extract all. This will create a V2 log collector 1.1x folder.
    5. Open the V2 log collector 1.1x folder and double click on the log-collector shortcut.
    6. A Command Prompt window will open with the Ten Forums Log Collector running in it. Press the Enter key to start the collection process.

    8. Finally the ending Command Prompt window will open. Press enter to close it. Note the Output location as that is where the zip file is located that you need to upload to the forum.

    9. In your BSOD post, either...
      • Upload the created zip file to a reputable file sharing service such as OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox and post a share link.
      • Upload the zip file directly into your post (use a file sharing site as above if possible).

When your BSOD is solved, if you have uploaded your files directly to the post, please remove your log collector files via the following link - Manage attachements
