Join/Leave Network

I have 1809 installed on 4 computers.
I needed to rejoin network on one of them - so went to network and sharing - only to find that the previous option to join a network or leave a network (together with password details had disappeared). Checked the other three, and they to had no options shown.
Have I missed something obvious here? OR have I gone to the wrong source to find these options?

Perhaps I have incorrectly used the word network? I meant the ability for all computers to react together, to interchange info/data.

Joining a 'network' by means of supplying a password is how Homegroup worked. Homegroup was removed from Windows 10 starting with version 1803. Is this what you were looking for? If so, it's no longer there.

What you should use instead is a Workgroup.

A workgroup is a group of PCs that are connected to a home or small office network and share resources, such as printers and files. When you set up a network, Windows automatically creates a workgroup and gives it a name.

• All PCs are peers; no PC has control over another PC.
• Each PC has a set of user accounts. To log on to any PC in the workgroup, you must have an account on that PC.
• There are typically no more than twenty PCs in a workgroup.
• A workgroup isn't protected by a password.

Starting with Windows 10 version 1803, some features of file sharing over a network have changed, including the removal of HomeGroup. However, even though HomeGroup has been removed, you can still share printers and files by using features that are built into Windows 10.

Thanks everyone - it was the word 'HomeGroup' that I just could not remember. as soon as the word was mentioned, I recalled that this was a casualty of a past update, and everything fell into place. I recall that I now use 'access to' for this purpose.
Advancing age has erased this from the memory!
