    Printscreen problem

I am trying to do a Print Screen in relation to getting an answer re Secure Boot. My laptop is a Dell Latitude E5420. The OS is Windows 10 Pro.
I generally have no problems making and saving a Print Screen by pressing the two keys "Fn and Prnt Scrn" simultaneously. However this does not work when I am trying to save a copy of a Windows Power Shell (Admin) screen. Solutions, if any, would be appreciated.

    Gordon,

There should not be anything stopping you.
I've just checked by doing the same myself.
    - I opened a PS Admin window, I pressed PrntScrn, I opened MS Paint & then pasted the picture into it.

What exactly happens when you do the same [albeit you need to use the Fn key with PrntScrn]?

Perhaps screenshot or Sniping tool will work for you?

Hello, I posted in response to your problem in that thread but have seen no reply.

Have you tried Snip & Sketch or any 3rd party program?

When you have pressed your PrtScn key/combo what exactly do you then do?

E.g. as I said, I think, paste into Paint or similar...

    Gordon,

I am also awaiting your response in your Secure boot thread but all you really need to do is tell people whether or not your Bios says you have Secure boot.
Nothing else matters - no PS Admin windows, no SystemInfo responses, no nothing.
Either your Bios says you have Secure boot capability or it does not.

    All the best,
    Denios

Firstly, my apologies for wasting anybody's time as I have now managed a screenshot of a Windows Power Shell screen.
In my own defence I can only explain that I was able to make copies of all documents using the Fn+Prt Scn keys which went straight to the Screenshots folder in Dropbox. But using the same keys on a Windows Power Shell page did not work. However, now find that I can copy a Windows Power Shell page by using the Fn+Windows+ Prt Scn keys, the copy going not into Dropbox but into the Pictures>Screenshots folder. I hope I can now post a copy of the relevant Power Shell page for my Secure Boot question. Many thanks for your patience.

Good.. the behaviour of/controls for PrntSc (etc) may vary a bit from PC to PC...

    Take Screenshot in Windows 10

    There are other options.
