    For HP typically booting to a flash drive is F9.

    If the computer cannot boot to the flash drive then please indicate whether you can or cannot boot to windows to run software.
    And indicate the status of files: backed up files, backed up images, no backups, no important files, etc.

    If you can boot windows and download and install software then run HP Diagnostics Windows overnight:
    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp138...0/sp138803.exe

    I'll catch you tomorrow.

    Please comment on:

    a) whether you can or cannot boot windows to download and install and run software

    b) the status of computer files: backed up, not backed up and need to backup, not backed up and there are no important files, etc.

    There is nothing backed up. She hasn't made any backups. She said if I needed to wipe it clean, it won't be a bother. Let me see if I can run the HP Diagnostics Windows now. When I downloaded the software yesterday, it said "Failed to extract cab".

    It is saying the same thing. "Failed to extract cab" when installing HP Diagnostics Windows.

    When the script results are posted into the webpage it misaligns the columns.

    For example:

    =============================================================================

    Drive
    Letter Drive Label Fs Free Space Used Space Capacity Free
    ------ --------------- ------ ---------- ---------- ---------- -----
    NTFS 82.62 MB 427.37 MB 510.00 MB 16 %
    SYSTEM NTFS 63.75 MB 36.25 MB 100.00 MB 64 %
    C NTFS 421.67 GB 31.55 GB 453.22 GB 93 %
    D FACTORY_IMAGE NTFS 11.90 GB 41.72 MB 11.94 GB 100 %
    E 0 B 0 B 0 B
    F 0 B 0 B 0 B
    G 0 B 0 B 0 B
    H 0 B 0 B 0 B
    I 0 B 0 B 0 B

    =============================================================================

    If it were copied and pasted within code then it would maintain the alignment.
    Or if it were posted using a share link it would maintain the column alignment.
