    Hi, 2021User.

This is an interesting subject and I believe there should be more options out there. Of course, you've got the default Windows Troubleshooter, perfect for basic software issues,
    1. Press Win + I to open settings
    2. Begin typing 'Troubleshooting'
    3. Click 'Troubleshooting settings'
    4. At the bottom, click additional troubleshooters
    5. Select the option you want and click 'Run the Troubleshooter'

On old laptops the most common problem is the heat sink clogged with dust.

There isn't a software to test all hardware. Most common tests are:
    - Drive test - CrystalDiskInfo8_13_3.zip
    - Memory test - press Windows Key+R, type “mdsched.exe” into the Run dialog that appears, and press Enter. You'll need to reboot your computer to perform the test.
    - CPU test - cpu-z_1.99-en.zip and use stress test.
