Thanks to all for sharing your experience on printer cartridge replacement/refill. It seem no one mention about fill up for ink tank
printer since this is what i owned. Guess i will stick to OEM or branded 3rd party refill ink but stay away from brand less one.

I think @Bree has at least one of that type....
Yes, an Epson Ecotank ET-4750. At the price of the OEM ink it's hardly worth saving a few pence on 3rd-party ink. Anyway, I have yet to finish off the ink it came, with, Epson supplied it with two sets of bottles.

At the time I bought mine ink tank printers were rare, Canon and Epson were about the only ones making them. Nowadays even HP has got in on the act.

I ended up printing so infrequently that every print had to be preceded by its self-clean-nozzle procedure

I'm not a frequent printer either, but I've only had to do that once or twice.

After reading through all this posts, i decided not to be stingy on ink refill bottles. Also because i seldom print, to prevent ink from
drying up i make it a habit of printing test pages every couple of days. I like all in one laser printer but i don't have space and it's
not wise to get a lower end all in one laser printer just for casual scanning, copying and printing.
