Dell Latitude e5470 won't turn on.

Hi,
Computes was left in warehouse for 1-2 months in working condition. Today I wanted to configure it for user.
Pressed power button - nothing happened. Connected AC adapter- power button and power LED turned ON, but no POST, no FANS, nothing. Tried to keep pressed power button to turn it off, but still both LEDS are on.
Tried power reset by removing AC adapter, disconnecting battery and pressing power button for 30sec. Now Power button and power led's are ON even on battery, without AC adapter. Can't turn it off, only by disconnecting battery.
Tried to remove RAM, the same issue. Not sure, but probably computer was left in warehouse in sleep mode.
Is there something else to try? No more warranty for this computer.

I can't run any diagnostics, as nothing happens, when I press power or any other button. Power led keeps ON.

The POST troubleshooting links were added before seeing your post.
Please run through them and report any beep codes.


See what happens when you repetitively click the applicable F key to open the BIOS.

On a working computer create bootable flash drives:

No beeps, no LED codes - Only solid white power led + power button led is on.

Remove all RAM modules.

Power on the computer and report what you see and hear (any beep codes).

Removed RAM, the same, no beeps, only power LED is on. Noticed, that CPU radiator is hot.

Hopefully one of these options may work:

a) computer hope POST troubleshooting steps
b) Dell pre-boot diagnostics
c) booting to a Ubuntu flash drive


Preboot Diagnostics
If Windows won’t start but your PC turns on, you can run preboot diagnostics to test your hardware outside of the operating system. If a problem is found, you can look up the error codes for more information.

See if you can replace or flash the CMOS battery:

If none of the above work then remove the drive > purchase or borrow a hard drive enclosure > backup important files

Will try ubuntu USB, but don't think anything will happen. Seems it even doesn't start up to read bios.
I am thinking about removing CMOS battery too, but all computer should be disassembled to do this.

Check the owners manual to see how to find and replace the CMOS battery.
