Windows 10 laptop wont run up into windows. Goes into BSOD repair mode

    Hello
I have a ASUS X751N laptop which has recently kept going into BIOS on turn on. After several turn off’s then on again it would run up into windows and work fine.
Now it runs up into automatic repair. Restart doesn’t fix it.
Into advanced options and start-up repair couldn’t fix it.
Use a device with my usb stick that I used create installation media tool for. Doesn’t fix it.
I go to reset this pc, keep my files, local re-install. Doesn’t work “There is a problem resetting your PC”.
Exit continue to Windows 10 goes back into automatic repair.
    Any ideas?

    Hello @chez666,
    Welcome to TenForums.

[1] If I understand you correctly, you can NOT Boot into Windows. Is that correct?
[2] Did you perform a Clean Install recently?
[3] Have you removed an external drive recently?

Windows 10 laptop wont run up into windows. Goes into BSOD repair mode

    Hi Paul

I have not done anything to the laptop at all. Just started going into BIOS and just when I think about looking into why that was happening it then starts going to BSOD.

    Hello @chez666,

As a start, and if at all possible, please perform the following . . .

     BSOD - Initial Data Collection

[1] Please click the BSOD - Posting Instructions link below.

    • IMPORTANT: Read and follow the Instructions.

[2] Download and Run the V2 & DM Log Collectors.

    • The log collectors scan necessary files and produce information that will allow us to help you with your issue.

    > BSOD - Posting Instructions

I am sure that somebody [ @zbook ] will be able to help analyse the output data.

    Thanks.

Windows 10 laptop wont run up into windows. Goes into BSOD repair mode

    Hi

I cannot run the V2 log unless there is a way to do it in the command line. I have it unzipped on a usb stick but the laptop doesn't run up for me to click on it and set it running.

    Cheers

It is impossible to run V2 Log collector in Windows RE.
You have to boot into installed Windows and then run it.
