W10 - Computer freezes completely, cuts all input/power to USB devices
Windows version 1903
My computer freezes while gaming. It ONLY happens when I'm playing games.. Randomly, The screen will freeze, lights and input to USB devices (mouse and keyboard) cut completely, and theres nothing I can do except hard-reboot my computer by holding down the power button. I've been checking the event viewer for a while now, trying to figure this out without asking for help. I've even re-installed windows to try and rid this problem.
I have two SSD's in RAID not sure if that matters... But I have all my games on an external HD. My CPU is watercooled, and It never gets above 85 Fahrenheit, So I really don't think overheating is the issue.
This most recent time that it happened, which was about twenty minutes ago, I was playing a game and it crashed, and then my computer just had a solid beep, I don't think there were any short ones, or any variations of the beeping whatsoever. It was just a solid beep, nonstop until reboot.
Event viewer has a log seemingly at the time of the crash, Which says,
"A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices."
And then on the same tick, also has
"The device HID-compliant headset (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 5 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem."
This makes me think the crashes are somehow related to my Razer Kraken USB-Gaming headset.. But I'm honestly clueless at this point. I've tried re-seating my graphics card, and that's it. I haven't tried to clear CMOS, or re-seat RAM.
