    BSOD When Playing PUBG, WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR


    Hi, this is a little long bear with me please.

    My PC started having problem last 3 weeks while playing PUBG, it would only crash the game and turn off any output to my monitor. I could still shutdown my computer using Hotkey on my keyboard.
    It starts off after i play a few games then slowly after a day this would happens when i enter the game.

    I took the CPU to a shop and thinking that i would like to add an SSD and install Windows 10 i might as well have them check the problem. The shop then proceed to tell me that the PSU was the problem and i got them changed, installed the new SSD and fresh windows 10. However while they run a stress test, the CPU crashed with BSOD whole having the casing "door" on, the CPU is able to go for hours with the casing "door" off. The shop proceed to tell me that maybe it was the temperature. They told me that while gaming it would not affect me as the crash only occur when the temperature hits 85 °C. I then proceed to bring home the CPU and install PUBG.

    However after a day the same problem occur where my screen will go black and output from my CPU to monitor is cut off, same thing i could still shutdown the PC with keyboards shortcuts. Not only the"black screen" occurs now, BSOD started popping out more frequently as times goes. Went back to the shop again after 2 days and they told me to change my Graphics Card, as i am a little frustrated i just agree to changed to a 1070ti. Fast-forward a few days, the 1070ti is on hand and installed, everything runs well until i am at home 2 hours into playing PUBG, BSOD with Error Code: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR appears and here i am hoping anyone could help.

    I am not tech savvy, but i don't feel like going back to the shop now.

    1) Update the system specs in the "My Computer" section:

    System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums | Windows 10 Tutorials
    In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
    After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

    Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)

    2) What is the age of the computer?
    3) Which parts have been replaced and when?
    4) What tests were ran and what problems were found that led to replacement of PSU and SSD?
    5) What is the over clocking history and what is over clocked now?

    6) There are two log collectors: DM and BETA
    At some time the BETA log collector will replace the DM log collector.
    The BETA log collector collects more useful files and folders
    7) Run the BETA log collector at the bottom of this web page and post a zip into the thread

    8) After each BSOD rerun the BETA log collector and place a new zip into the thread

    9) Turn off Windows fast startup

    10) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    11) sfc /scannow
    12) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    13) chkdsk /scan
    14) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    15) Make sure that there is no over clocking while troubleshooting.

    16) Sometimes there are problems in the bios that produce bsod.

    18) To ensure that there are no improper bios settings please reset the bios.
    19) Sometimes there can be failure to boot after resetting the bios.
    20) Backup the computer files to another drive or to the cloud.
    21) Make a backup image using Macrium:

    22) And please create a brand new restore point.

    23) If the computer has Ccleaner > click windows tab > scroll down to system and advanced > post an image into the thread

    24) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings
    a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery into the thread.

    25) When testing for WHEA hardware errors we need to systematically check CPU, GPU, RAM and drive.

    a) Record the maximum temperature and post the maximum temperature into the thread

    28) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes.

    This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.

    The testing is done not by time but by passes.
    The more passes the better.
    There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
    A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.
    There is 16 GB of RAM on the computer.
    Memtest86+ version 5.01 testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM
    Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
    Then test 1 RAM module at a time in the same DIMM each for 8 or more passes.
    b) When Memtest86+ version 5.01 has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.

    29) Run HD Tune (free edition) (run on all drives)
    Post test results for the images on these tabs:
    a) Health (SMART)
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    31) All of these test should be done with the bios reset and no over clocking.

    32) For each of the above tests please record maximum temperatures.

    33) And please make sure that you use the Microsoft snipping tool to post images of each into the thread.

    34) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste: chkdsk /r /v

    Issue: My PC keeps on getting BSOD (Whea_Uncorrectable_Error) ONLY HAPPENS WHEN PLAYING PUBG

    Things I’ve done:

    -Updated drivers
    -Sfc/Scannow
    -Chkdsk
    -Cleared dump files
    -MEMORY TEST - ALL GOOD
    -CPU STRESS TET - ALL GOOD
    -GPU STRESS TEST- ALL GOOD
    -CLEAN REFORMAT WINDOWS 10 Pro
    -NO OVERCLOCKING
    -DEFAULT BIOS SETTINGS
    -RESET CMOS
    -RESEATING AND CLEANING RAM AND GPU
    -CHECKED ALL THE WIRES FROM PSU
    -TEMPERATURE MONITORING 59° Celcius highest temp (gpu and cpu)
    -TRIED TO RUN PUBG AFTER CLEAN REFORMAT (NO 3rd party app installed)

    MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 2080
    Asus ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming
