Unable to access many crossword solver sites from the UK

Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3693)
I am having problems in accessing many crossword solver sites on two Windows 10 PC's and two modern Android phones. This occurs using Brave, Bing and Google browsers, the only ones I use on these devices. The sites are only accessible using Brave TOR browser. It seems to be many that have the words 'crossword' or 'word' in the title. Anagram or Soduko solver searches are always fine.

wordfun.ca

The error ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT occurs in all cases.
This has been happening for several months now. I have cleared caches, uninstalled and reinstalled browsers, rebooted router, flushed out DNS data etc. but to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why they are being stopped in the UK? or is it my ISP, NOW, that is stopping them.

a) Browsers are in safe mode
c) No manual proxy set up in browsers, set on auto
b) used DNS jumper and changed to Cloudflare on the Windows 10 PC's.
The problem sites now work on the Windows 10 PC's but this has got around the problem without identifying the source of the problem which I still suspect is the ISP 'NOW' (Sky) slowing down or blocking some sites.
My Android phones I have added TOR browser to get around this problem but again without identifying the source of the problem which I still suspect is the ISP 'NOW' (Sky) slowing down or blocking some sites.

As shown above. Used DNS jumper to change to Cloudflare DNS on the Windows 10 PC's. The problem sites now work on the Windows 10 PC's.

You fixed it with a different DNS provider, but I'm wondering if your ISP's DNS allows you to filter websites? You can check at your ISP account. It may be a false positive thanks to their parental controls.

The ISP 'NOW' (Sky) uses filtering called a 'Buddy' to restrict access to certain sites. However websites containing the word Crossword is not one of the options. Like most companies nowadays they are virtually impossible to contact and as for asking a question, that is not possible. I just have to live with it. The fact that the problem sites now work on Windows 10 PC's suggest that I have bypassed the filtering. Especially as my mobile phones still have the problem on the old ISP DNS settings.
