You are far too keen and impatient, get those Windows updates done first before you start installing stuff.
It is not just a version updates which takes a while it is all the others as well. Also go to MS Store and update all those Apps even if you have no intention of using them.

No need for all this complex analysis stuff at present.

When everything is done, then you do your installs.

I have just opened my "Services" based off the tutorial you linked. DHCP client's Status is "Running" and Startup Type is "Automatic".

Is there anything more I need to do?

You might try system restore, if you have enabled that, as your problem has occurred so recently.
And rather than spend days trying to fix this, do a factory reset.

    Or clean install 1803.

    A key strategy is to
    a. Start using disk imaging routinely as early as you can- before something goes badly wrong.
(Macrium Reflect (free) + external storage for disk image sets)
    b. Configure your system and keep simple notes
    c. Create a new differential disk image - 'update' your disk image set- after a number of successful changes

    Repeat (b) and (c)

Then when sthg goes wrong, in many cases you can restore a disk image - without technical help- and be back with a working PC- works even if you have to replace the disk.
Mmm, a factory reset is looking awfully appealing at the moment, unfortunately I didn't enable it to begin with as I have barely installed anything onto the laptop, thought it would be fine and I'd get away with it.

Thanks for the strategy, I have done this in the past but unfortunately failed to in this situation.

Downloading, extracting and running Log Collector (I'm following the precaution to make sure I'm opening the extracted files only and not through the zip).:
The same result as before, simply pops up with the black box then immediately exits.

I have attached the images from HD Tune. I could not see any actions for "a) Health SMRT".

What are the state of the files on the computer?
Had you backed up important files to another drive or to the cloud?
Had a backup image been made?
If you needed to could you perform a clean install?

Are you able to make a Windows 10 iso on a working computer?
Do you have flash drives that you can format (> or = 8 GB )

Open administrative Powershell and type or copy and paste:

    Get-ComputerRestorePoint
When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

In the left low corner click restart while holding down the shift key > boot to the Windows advanced troubleshooting menu.
    Click troubleshoot
Click startup options (not startup repair)
    Click the menu option restart
Click #6 safe mode or safe mode with networking or safe mode with command prompt

These steps can be done when back on the desktop or if you are able to use safe mode with networking
Plan to download and install HD Sentinel: free or trial edition

Post images for results on these tabs:

For HD Tune complete the Full error scan and post an image of the results into the thread.

For the DM_log_collector, I don't think you are using an Elevated Command Prompt. If you were, the prompt window would look like this:
