I understand this is about
virtualization-based security (VBS), but there is something similar called Visual Basic that's used in VBScript; Maybe it's a stretch, but would you know if this has any tie-in with VBScript?
On the one hand this article:

On the other, VBScript is used in a lot of what's described in the above link, such as; Defender, Device Guard, Briefcase, Bitlocker, and Passport.
That article also describes how Hypervisor Code Integrity (HVCI) and Local Security Authority (LSA) work in the mix, I have LSA on my 7box, no HVCI, but I'll have to check my 10box to see if there's any HVCI there.
