My notice that "v2004 is coming, we'll let you know when it is ready" in WU disappeared this morning. Still on 1909.
It's gone - no notice at all now. "You are up to date"

    They gave up! We win!
(Probably for an hour or so.....)

Way back in this thread there was some talk about AMD systems having trouble with v2004. This issue never made it on the list of known issues.

Is this still a thing? Any AMD systems here that updated successfully?

Yes my x370 with 1600x and x570 with R9 3900X updated, however, a B450 with R5 3400G will not update using assistant nor will MS offer it via WU.

On both AMD machines I have no problems attributed only to AMD.
