HELP: Moving just 1 user profile folder (existing installation)

    Howdy folks,
    New here.

I read the article on moving the users folder during setup.
Move Users Folder Location in Windows 10

But is it possible to move a SINGLE user profile folder to another drive using symbolic links? for an EXISTING installation (not during setup).

    would this command work?
    mklink /d "C:\Users\MyProfile1" "D:\Users\MyProfile2"

I tried googling "windows 10 relocate a single user profile"
but the results are only about relocating individual folders in the profile folder (Documents, etc); not the whole folder.

    Windows 10 Home
    Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.959)
I will be installing the updates later.

    Appreciate any clarifications or help.
    Thank you for your time.

My advice is not to even try it
    The risks are too great
Use the method you found where you refer to the individual folders - as per my screenshot

If for some reason you ignore my advice refer back to the link you attached and see moving on existing installation please
Relocating Users folder on an existing Windows installation
    However note caution

    Thanks Macboat!

I had a feeling this was risky.
I will have to be content just moving certain subfolders.

Thanks again from the US! The UK is cool.

    +1 rep
