How to Add or Remove "Adaptive display" from Power Options in Windows
The Adaptive display setting in Power Options extends the time Windows waits to turn off the display if you repeatedly turn on the display with the keyboard or mouse.
If the user provides input to the system shortly after the display idle timeout is reached, Windows automatically extends the display idle time-out to deliver a better user experience.
This tutorial will show you how to add or remove the Adaptive display setting under Display in Power Options for all users in Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
You must be signed in as an administrator to be able to add or remove this setting in Power Options.
