Interesting.
Maybe Kaspersky placed them there.
The cybersecurity company says this is the first time they have seen this type of malware hiding method.
An unprecedented discovery made by Kaspersky could have serious consequences for those using Windows operating systems. The cybersecurity company published an article on May 4 detailing that — for the first time ever — hackers have placed shellcode into Windows event logs, hiding Trojans as fileless malware.

They exist since a long time, but they are not file-less, they are used like an hidden dll,
But they don't know which exes uses it. And they don't know a fraction about hacking.
could be ...one never knows right ? Just like any other AV company could "find new threats" ,and eliminate 'em... meantime they've put it there .Makes them look good or something
how many times I've read that when a trial version of an AV is about to expire ,suddenly there's these threats ,that only a paid version could resolve lol.
anyway ...i don't think Kaspersky is evil now (or before) cause of the Ukrainian thing .That's just my opinion.
Saw other threads here about that , everyone got their opinion , but who would really know?
ok .sorry for carrying on lol , i know you probly meant it tongue in cheek
