How To Change A Setting?
Windows 10 Home.I have a glitch with my laptop that even a repair technician can't fix. It is whenever I remove headphones from their jack, I loose my Caps/Num Lock sound. The technician put a short-cut on my desktop which is this:
C:\Windows\explorer.exe ms-settings:apps-volume
It takes you to "App volume device preferences"
I just click on "reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults" and the sound is back.
The problem I have is that it shows a long list of file names that have been played. How can I do two things?
1) delete the list of names?
2) never have the names show there?
EDIT: I notice that after I restart my laptop and click on the shortcut, the file names have been removed.
Are they stored somewhere?
If so, where. I wish to erase them.
