hi....
I run 64 bit Windows 10 and now I know why only certain programs show up for deletion. I sometimes wrangle with the same question. Is Revo really needed ?
In my dealings with Revouninstaller, I can only say that there are ALOT of files, registry entries etc, left over after an uninstall. So many that I was astounded by the sheer number
of entries presented AFTER the program uninstaller ran. So far, I've had no problems deleting everthing Revo has presented. YMMV for sure.
I suppose what bothers me most is "Why programmers won't, or can't, write an revouninstaller that actually uninstalls their program. I understand shared files. Thinking back to several programs I Revo uninstalled on a 32 bit XP Home machine, I would guesstimate a couple of HUNDRED registry entries would still remain without using the Revo uninstaller.

Latest version of Norton Security and Norton Security with Backup ver 22.1.0.9 will now install on Windows 10. The problem is finding a download link as the current links of their web site give you ver 22.0 which will not install on W10.

That just means it's confirmed it works. :)

Working:
Paragon HDM15S
Quicken 2015 Starter Edition
Webroot Secure Anywhere
Webroot worked on 9841 and 9860 but on 9879 the install got the PCA(Program Compatibility Assistant) pop up. A suggestion from Technet forum was to change file name. Default is "wsainstall.exe", I renamed to "wrsa.exe" and no pop up! Anyone getting a PCA pop up should give that a try.

Works
- Citrix Receiver
- ASRock A Tuning - indeed RAM drive options work in 10 TP but not on my Win 8.1 on the same hardware
- Paint.Net
- WinTV 7 - perfect digital TV for all free to air channels in my region.
Not working
- Trackpad++ (trackpad app for MacBook AIR 2013 Windows that gives virtually full Mac trackpad functionality, under Win 8.1, not 10
- Media Centre - important to those of us who use it to watch and record free to air TV via a tuner as well as being a pretty decent media hub. If Microsoft had paid attention to this instead of basically ignoring it for the past 3 to 4 years... Yes this is an enterprise preview and the consumer preview is coming in a few weeks. I am not holding my breath however that they will support Media Centre at all.

Sorry, I don't have the link handy, but the latest I read is that there is NOT going to be a Consumer Preview released in January, but instead, simply another TP Build. To be followed by a February Build, a March Build, ... etc.
This means that the January Build is not going to be a "final" product in any sense of the word (even as a "beta") but instead, simply another in a list of Builds.

I will only mention the software that did not work for me: Kodi. So I installed XBMC (Old name for Kodi)

OblyTile will not work in leaked Builds, (9901 or 9888), however, if you create tiles in another build and export them you will be able to import them into a leaked build and they will work provided the same apps exist in the import build. For native applications you can modify the file path and they should work.
