Got this working when I (eventually) got my Bluetooth Wedge Mouse to pair with Surface Pro 3 running build 9879. Windows installed the device and, magically, the Mouse & Keyboard Centre appeared which it had previously refused to install as a download. It reports itself as Version 2.3.188.0
Speccy v1.27.703 has been updated to run on Win10 preview
Here's a Published snapshot of my machine.
Yesterday I tried something - boot from a vhd ... it did not work the way I tried it, so when (if) I figure out what needs to be done, I will post a thread or add it to and existing tutorial. I was never given the option to install Win10 on a different drive (the vhd) so I ended up overwriting my Win8 install. User error!
An oddity in the report:
Operating SystemWindows Technical Preview 64-bit
Computer type: Virtual
Installation Date: 12/30/2014 23:55:23
more to come later ...
Just tried Intel Tool box 3.2.3 and it worked in all modes like it should.
Maybe its fixed or I'm just lucky.
FileHippo Updater also works as it should.
Has anyone attempted to install and run the following apps, all of which work fine on Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit?
I use most of these at least weekly and some daily, so failure on Win 10 could be a show-stopper if they won’t perform as they do on Win 7.
Adobe Photoshop CS2
Audacity 2.0.1
CDex (CD ripper)
Click Repair (superb audio restoration tool)
EncSpot (mp3 analyzer which has not been updated in at least 10 years)
Freemake Audio Converter
Freemake Video Converter
GrabIt newsreader (not updated in several years)
ImgBurn (DVD burning app)
LView Pro (jpeg viewer/editor that has not been updated in 15 years or more)
Machete Lite (wmv and avi video editor)
Media Monkey 3.2.5.1306, from about 2010
Media Player Classic Home Cinema
Mp3Gain
Mp3Tag
Tree Size Free (hard disk occupied space analyzer)
Hello!
I've just tested and the following seem to be working perfectly:
VAC (Voice Activated Commands)
AutoHotkey
Enable Viacam
*ETA:
However, DragonNaturallySpeaking 13 is not working at all. It shows on the Task Manager but continues to show an approximate 30% CPU usage without doing anything at all.
Very annoying, as I need Dragon to type for me when I need to type anything longer than this forum post. I guess I'll have to try the Windows built in dictation software for the time being.

The Adobe Photoshop CS2 (Abadonware) is still working on 9926.
Adobe posted the CS2 long time ago on their website as a FREE download with license codes. I downloaded it a few days before they finally took it down. It is fully functional.
