There were multiple BIOS upgrades missed.

The last BSOD was in January 2022.

There was an unexpected shutdown and restart on March 8, 2022.

There were many paging errors.




1) View the BIOS fixes, and enhancements > then upgrade the BIOS

3) Uninstall or uninstall and reinstall Sony software.


4) Uninstall and reinstall Nvidia GPU drivers nvlddmkm.sys

Uninstall using DDU.
Reinstall from the Nvidia website.
Make sure that you check the clean install box and if available install the physx driver.

So sorry for the late replay, i have a couple of questions if there's no problem of course

for BIOS upgrade the last update on the website is 2012/11/27

and they're indicating that it's only for Win7 & Vista should i download the upgrade anyway?

"The last BSOD was in January 2022" How to update the BSOD as when i check in Windows Update they're giving the Everything is up to date green message

Plus this always get updated and nothing happened, everytime and all the time and always that i check for updates this get updated every time, is it normal

"3) Uninstall or uninstall and reinstall Sony software" How to do that as i didn't find it in the 'Apps & Features'

An in place upgrade repair typically fixes Windows operating system problems.

You can perform an in place upgrade repair and then reevaluate.

This may fix the Microsoft defender problem(s).

The drives need to be tested and a lot can be accomplished while sleeping.

An old BIOS can be used without updating.

There may be performance and security improvements that are missed.

The Vista and win 7 comments need clarification from the manufacturer.

Applications can crash or report problems in the event viewer.
So some applications may need to be uninstalled and reinstalled to get better performance.

should i update the BIOS even though it's for Windows 7 & Vista only?
and where can i find the Sony Software to uninstall? and what's this Sony Software for?
