New
#1951
today i updated my pe to 26085.1 with sab v3.7.7.4897
it turns out that the problem of the level volum, battery & calendar was from "SysTrayStyle" , so we can use any win7, win10 w11 style without problems if we keep fixed :
Code:RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_Default\Software\StartIsBack,SysTrayStyle,2
So the #2 post for Aomei backupper only includes the script, not the file script, so if you look at that script from post #2, its for Aomei backupper version 7.3.2 and that script then calls on the file script. If you look at the file script inside the XPE folders, it is for Aomei backupper version 7.3.4. I think this is why I am getting that DLL error. So not sure what you did different to make it work?
I also don't know enough about this to create those scripts from scratch, the only plugins for XPE that I have made in the past have all come from creating them within the XPE builder using the XPE plugin creation tool (now called XPE Packed Application Creator).
I don't know enough about this to make a script manually unfortunately. Any help or guides would be appreciated!!
I do have a copy of the original exe of version 6.3.0 for Aomei Backupper (which allows most of the tools for free) and going to try to use it to make a plugin for that version but I don't know how well that will fare for me.
Quite easy. Install 6.9.1 ( you can direct it to a different partition/hd if you like by selecting your desired path as in the example screenshot below )
the folder you need is called winpe64 copy it onto your usb stick
if you have already got 7.3.3. or 7.3.4 in your winpe, the reg entries and the three driver files will already in your winpe.
If you want you can rename the winpe64 folder you have just copied to your usb stick. Something sensible like Backupper6.9.1 will do so you know what it is.
Because you already have the _File.ScriptSo the #2 post for Aomei backupper only includes th,e script, not the file script
And the Version Number will change when you UPDATE the Application.. The script was edited at version 7.3.2 and the Latest download version is 7.3.4if you look at that script from post #2, its for Aomei backupper version 7.3.2
So use the Downloaded 7.3.2 Script and hit the Update Button to add the New version 7.3.4 into the existing file script... Problem is you updated the script which extracts the required file > but never update the File.script which does not have the file required
Here are the project scripts and release dates
updated to win11 22631.3371 ok
this is also from startallback ...
without sab is ok , ican run regshot or drweb ...
one work around is to start with batch & set temp tmp
** ThemeCode:.... set temp=B:\temp set tmp=B:\temp start X:\Program Files\Regshot\Regshot.exe ....
i found that some Themes are not good under admin , by comp using beyond compare i see that The whole hive isnt present in admin compared to system , needed to add it in theme script
Code:RegCopyKey,HKLM,Tmp_Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects

Hello friends,
does anyone maybe have the latest version of ASP NET script. may be version 6.0.28 or higher ?
thanks
Thanks SIW2. I got those files added into the program files in their own separate folder named appropriately, then created shortcuts by modifying pecmd.ini, also named appropriately. Now I have both versions in my PE with shortcuts in start menu as well as the desktop.
Thank you for the help with this!! Much appreciated!
Thank you Kyhi!! You are absolutely correct, I was not hitting the update button to update the file script, hence the errors. Thank you!! Much appreciated!
I do have a question. I have quite a few programs that fail to download the file due to name resolution / bad link / etc. So I assume I have 2 options. Fix the URL in the script to point to the correct URL or provide the file manually.
If I provide said file manually, where do I put that file? For instance, DiskGenius doesn't download, would I put that file in the temp folder of the build under a folder called "DiskGenius" or where do I put it? Also, I can provide either an exe or a zip, either should work, right?
