Please test my edits to > Win10XPE\Projects\MyPlugins\Apps\Components\RemoteDesktop_XPE.script

As usual First Rename Existing *.script > *.script.old
So as to keep existing Project script untouched...

@Kyhi, Thank you very much for your clarification. I will never search in rdp.script.
Here I am reassured, all builders use the same tricks.
So I assume it's an missing file or key.
    I'm not home right now.
Is it possible that someone drops the "bugged" boot.wim file of the win10XPE project in a share so that I can download it without having to build it.
If possible, use only "full software" and "explorer" as shell. Don't add others "shell" (the goal is to have a minimal environment with as few interations as possible with components that I do not master).
I have some time to investigate. But I don't have a way to build this file.

Noel, currently both Projects use Binmay to Patch > Windows.UI.CredDialogController.dll

Can we not add the line to additions script?
I added 3 files and Services - not found in the XPE RemoteDesktop script -
but that does not mean they were not included in another script within project
As we build off of (or up from) the Base Project

Also PhoenixPE depicted some of XPE's older processes...
Yet both projects a VERY Similar in its Processes and Applications
The difference between the two is the Script Coding Language used

I won't be able to do it until Sunday.
If this test works out are you ok opening a pull request on GitHub, if not I could do it.

It's why i thing only one file or key are misssing somewhere.
Procmon is certainely the fast tool to find the missing... but without "win10xpe" boot.wim, i can't check.

Hi, I know that Windows 10 2004 is the suggested version to use and in fact everything works using that. Why when I use last build of windows 10 Google Chrome 109 refuses to start? It immediately force closes. Is there a way to find what is missing? Thanks.

Try a prior Win10 Build - win10-22H2 is giving me issues with Sound, PEnetwork and Google
Firefox works and so does Win11-22H2 - but no sound unless Admin Account..

    Hello everyone.

After spending some time with WinPE builder I encountered some issues with Windows 10 22H2, as someone before stated - there are some issues with PENetwork (no GUI), sound and some minor stuff like Open with (context menu) is not working as it suposse too.

So I reverted back to 20H1 (19041.1) to mitigate most of those painful issues from my end, however I quickly saw that there is a strange stuff going on within network support.
Every single time I've got unused connection called adsl - even when I do not enable PPPoE support in my build and I do not have device using that type of connection.
I checked some other PE builds and I also made Windows 11 enviroment to check if this would be applicable to newer Windows and yes - adsl connection is still present.

Is that a bug or a feature?

I also got one question - how on earth some people like Sergei Strelec for example made their WIM file so small, like below <500MB for quite functional WinPE?
Custom files list? NTLite as another slimming layer?
