Calculator in Windows 10 not showing history anymore? Any fix?

I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to fix calculator history. Windows version 10 with latest updates, though no updates this evening when the change happened.

Under standard calculator it used to display live history above the total as shown on the right side of the screenshot. Some time today my calculator stopped displaying history and only shows the most recent entry. For example if I type "45+45+" it would show the total as 90 with "45+45+" at the top but now it just shows as "90+". How do I change the setting back? I may have hit the number lock key but usually that just stops the number pad from working until the num lock key is pressed again.

"scientific" calculator still shows history (that is where the right screenshot came from). Left screenshot is the problem right screenshot is how it used to be.

I already tried resetting and reinstalling calculator.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, what's the version number of your calculator?

Windows version 10 with latest updates
    - unfortunately meaningless as this can vary from PC to PC and some run Insider builds. The forum prompted you thus:

    - sadly so many ignore this and we have to keep asking.

I actually had two different version numbers 10.2021.10.0 and 10.2021.21.0

I had the most recent version but reinstalled from MS and got an older version. Both versions were effected.

Problem now resolved with a system restore (I didn't think of it til I posted). Though if you have a fix it might still be good to post for others. Thanks!

Next time you could go to the apps settings and try a reset or repair.

There isn't any control I know of of app updates from the Store.
You can reinstate the Win 7 calculator (smaller GUI too):

Had same problem I noticed a few days ago. Convenient to see history across top. Did as aeydenoshawn, except did not want to do system restore. Hopefully someone will come up with an answer.

Is the app opened wide enough?

I am also seeing the same change.

@Fabler2, yes, if I extend the width it shows that. Every time I add an item, it creates a new line of history.

But before it would show it like this, which was useful to see the string of items I used.

Hopefully someone could figure out how to switch it back.

Hi, your attachments are invalid, unfortunately The most helpful way to add screenshots is to use forum facilities thus:

As regards app updates, you get what MS provides if you allow updates. No way to get older versions.
