Archives are a simple matter 7-Zip is an obvious solution, it's got a more traditional look (that actually suits it's purpose better than the modern "Jellybean" look of modern Windows apps), It's free and ad free.
However, if you have a reason to look for something to fit in with modern Windows 10 apps, (and personal preference IS a valid Reason), why not just use Windows itself
It has full Zip support, (simply select a group of folders and right-click and choose to add to Zip.
Archive zip containers open as a standard folder does.
OK it does not have the "bells and whistles " of 7 Zip but Windows File manager is a usable tool for it's purpose and can handle all a regular user could need.
Note7 Zip does have the "advantage" of it's own extra compact compression algorithm, that can archive more in less space, but I would caution it's use as although the 7-Zip application has been around for many years, I would always prefer to use an open standard, such as Zip, that is not likely to disappear after you have invested time into it
