    unwanted extra toolbar

I recently downloaded some freeware for opening files with docx extensions. I have subsequently deleted this software, but when I did this a message came up saying I have need to delete some elements of the program manually. I have been left with an extra toolbar above the usual windows edge tool bar , which I would like to remove.
    Any ideas?

Check what Extensions that Edge has installed.
    Remove any unwanted extensions.

Hi chris999. Welcome to the TenForums @chris999

Please check your entire app list, tool bar maybe listed individually.

With any luck is it showing as an extension in Edge?

You might also try something like Malwarebytes Free.

If you don't buy most of the Premium feature expire after 14 days.

There is also the reset of Edge, last resort. Note it deletes Favorites so you need to backup.

Would also recommend you look into tool like Macrium Reflect that would allow you to restore your system to a point in time before you installed.
