    Hello,

I have successfully created an Win10XPE bootable iso with some integrated software and I then I applied the image boot.wim on a virtual disk vhd using dism and it booted fine.

The problem I'm facing is that the integrated software is in a separate Programs folder not inside boot.wim file.

I have copied manually all software folders from ISO inside Program Files on the VHD disk but shortcuts are not working for some of the software.

Is there a simple way to use these programs when booting Win10XPE from VHD (flat mode) ?

I plan to use Win10XPE as a VM to do some testing in a virtual environment.

    Thank you.

On Build Core / Main Interface > Select "Run ALL Programs From RAM"
create new build then extract boot.wim to VHD

It may be best if after first boot - edit PE registry and remove key
    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Setup]
    "CmdLine"="Pecmd.exe Main %Windir%\\system32\\Pecmd.ini"

I have also figured out that if you edit Pecmd.ini
    Code:
    TEAM DISP W1024 H768 B32|DISP W1366 H768 B32
    to
    Code:
    TEAM DISP
it will Auto-Select the best display resolution rather then use the display priority settings

I did as you said and it worked fine. Thanks for help.
One more short question is there any way to disable some specific services which I do not want to run ?

yes - you could edit the target registry and disable the service
Goto Create ISO and Hit "Edit Target Hives"
    Code:
    remove key reference if exists
    Tmp_System\Setup\AllowStart\%Service%

    edit key reference if exists
    Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\%Service%,Start,4
close regedit and Hit "Create Boot.wim and ISO" extract New Boot.wim

If already First Booted VHD - You should be able to "Stop" or "Disable" Service
