Win10 Extremely Long Boot Time (including trace)

    Hi everyone,
    Hoping all is good..

    I own a Lenovo ThinkPad x260 running windows 10 (22H2 OS build 19045.3930).
The Boot time is really really slow; I see the window with the spinning wheel, prior to the login window, for 30 minutes until the PC finishes booting up.

I have tried looking through WPA, but it is a bit complicated for me and I am not really managing to follow the boot trace.

Can you please take a look at my trace to try and help troubleshoot the problem?
    Trace:
    trace.rar - Google Drive

    Thank you!
    Aryel

In the Search box, type in ---disk cleanup ---and select ---run as admin ---then run the tool using the Default selections, If you have not previously used this tool, then be aware it can take a considerable length of time.Just be patient.
Next go to Task Manager>startup and disable all third party programmes from automatically starting. At the top right of that page, check the BIOS startup time, roughly 90 seconds, give or take.
Finally,in Powershell [admin ],type in ---dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth ---and when finished, then type in ---sfc /scannow ---and continue to run it until a clean report is given.

@zinou is the expert in using the WPA- please wait for comment.

Meanwhile, what sort of disk do you have in the laptop? No specs given bar the laptop make and model.

You can find a number of threads on slow boot cases and resolving them- just search tenforums.

Please do try what joeandmarg0 suggests in using disk cleanup - several cases of slow boot have been resolved - surprisingly perhaps- by clearing a large accumulation of temporary files.

History: (so rarely given by posters)
    - when did your PC last boot in an acceptable time?
    - what changed since then?
    - about how long was the boot time from cold boot to lock screen when this was acceptable?

    Have you checked the disk?
Launch Crystal Diskinfo (free) and post a screenshot of that.

What is the maximum disk transfer rate your disk can achieve? (See Task manager, Performance tab)

    Thanks

Indicate whether one of these steps makes any improvement:

    a) clean boot
    b) turn off Windows fast startup

    Reference Post 2.
My typographical error. The BIOS startup time should read "about 10 seconds"not 90 as given.

    @relznot
I'm not seeing a delay of 30 minutes in the boot trace!
Are you sure it's 30 min and not 30 seconds?

    Hey zinou,

The PC takes 30 minutes to load; it is stuck on the win10 logo and spinning wheel for 30 minutes prior to the login appearing.

"Post boot delay " occurs after the user has been logged in and the desktop displayed. This is not relevant to the current case.
