Slow Boot Up of PC even though I have a SSD

Hello all since the day I bought my pc my bootup is kinda pretty slow I mean the ROG logo shows up but it takes it sweet time to actually load windows then below the ROG logo a small circle circulates and then after sometime windows loads up all this takes about 3 mins or more at times. From what I know SSD's are supposed to be faster to load windows. I do not know what to do can anyone guide me please.

To put it simply and painlessly, try this…
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

If you try to tweak, clean and use strange repair programs, you will probably get nowhere, even after several months of effort.
Assumes that you already know basic cleaning and maintenance functions and have adopted this.

    Short version:
    1. First take a back-up of your existing system (!)
    2. Check what language you need for the ISO.
    DISM /online /get-intl
    in CMD(adm).
"Default system UI language" will then be the language you have to use for the ISO.
    3. The ISO need to be newer or the same version as your system.
    4. Download the ISO and put it in a folder on your desktop, call it Windows ISO or something.
    5. Open and extract it, and doubleclick setup.exe...
    6. Be sure that it says it will keep all your apps and files.

    And then wait 30-40 minutes.

Get rid of that advanced system care junkware.

if you run the log collector from the bsod forum here, we can see more about your computer, whats installed etc. you can find it here.

Hi, some clarification would help, please:
below the ROG logo a small circle circulates and then after sometime windows loads up all this takes about 3 mins or more at times.
Let's talk about boot time to lock screen.
You might expect this to be about 9s+/- for a SSD, and as long as 1.5-2 mins for a HDD (just roughly).

A cold boot will be faster, especially for a HDD if Fast Startup is enabled- however this can cause problems on some systems. Ensure this is disabled - though don't expect this to help with your boot time.

Assuming that your boot time to lock screen is 'too long', then, as shown in many such threads, the appropriate tool is the Windows Performance Anaylser and Recorder (WPA) free from MS.

You can find tenforums threads showing example cases, settings used to capture a trace, how to upload a trace, and screenshots of such traces.
@zinou is the most capable member at using this technically advanced tool.

[B]In some cases, slow booting has been solved simply by deleted a load of tmp files (feel free to search for those threads).
/B] You can try that, but you say this problem has existed from day 1.

    Are you dual booting?

I note you have many drives installed.
    8) Hard Drives: 1 X Samsung SSD 970 PRO 512GB (SSD) (500 GB)
    a) 1 X WDC WD20EZRX (2 TB)
    b) 3 X Seagate T500DM002 (500 GB each)
    c) 3 X WDC WD4004FZWX (3TB each)
    d) 4 X WD My Book 1140 USB Device (4 TB each)

    Please check them all:
Hard Disk Sentinel (excellent) - SSDs too, full functional trial, portable version available.

Try booting with only your system disk in place- disconnect the others.
    Thanks.

    kufr:

Right-click on the taskbar, then click Task Manager in the pop-up menu.
When the Task Manager window appears, click the Startup tab.
How many entries in the list show a status of "Enabled"?

N.B. that has pretty much nothing to do with the boot time to lock screen - and I'm trying to draw the distinction between that and startups launched AFTER logging in and the time for the system to settle down after that to low resource usage, desktop populated etc.

The only relationship with those to the time from boot to lock screen would be services or drivers related to those programs launched during the boot phases.

How long does it take to Restart from running Windows?
Try to set Fast Start to Disabled. Normally it's more part of trouble than part of a solution.

Yes I've seen that you mentioned in post # 4

    @kufr
Have seen very long boots due to a problematic drive other than the boot drive.
I suggest you detach (SATA or power cable) all other drives.

Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
    chkdsk c: /f
It will say your disk is in use and ask if you want to schedule to next start = yes
    Restart

    process of elimination

the first thing I would try is disconnect these if they are powered on.
    d) 4 X WD My Book 1140 USB Device (4 TB each)

and see if that makes any difference.

    if not then disconnect these
    c) 3 X WDC WD4004FZWX (3TB each)

    then these
    b) 3 X Seagate T500DM002 (500 GB each)

    then this
    a) 1 X WDC WD20EZRX (2 TB)
