Hi, only x570 chipset Ryzen boards have both M.2 NVMe enabled, generally only one is and that's usually top one. You don't disable SATA to have it work as NVMe, it's automatic.
The problem with those MBs is that top M.2 (PCIe) is controlled from CPU and other one from chipset that is not PCIe 3 enabled. Good part of that arraignment is that installing in either M.2 doesn't disable any SATA ports like in some other systems.
